This is a very special placed for our bird guides, a 'quality' place for spotting and watching birds. Brown Breasted Flycatcher, Golden Breasted Fulvetta, Humes Ground Pecker, Great Rose Finch, Streaked Rose Finch, Kessler's Thursh, Yellow Cheeked Tit. Kanchanjunga is the second highest mountain of Nepal at 8,586m. It's a virgin area for trekkers and nature lovers. It lies in the extreme east of Nepal and to the north-east of Sikkim & Darjeeling.In spring this area is blooming rhododendron and varieties of other mountain flowers with views of mountain ranges like Kanchanjunga, Janu, Nepal peak, Khabrudome, Rathong. Kanchanjunga sector is a tougher area than others you are advised to trek in easier trail before. The weather in summer is full of monsoon rain and winters are cold. On the way we come across different settlements with varied cultures, different vegetation's, varieties of wild animals and bird species. After four days trekking we have to be self sufficient in food and tent. There are two ways of approaches. Firstly, fly from Kathmandu to Suketar & back same way.
