 Within the mountain kingdom of Nepal, Buddhism and Hinduism have always flourished and evolved together side by side for hundreds of years. The evolution of such important religions and dynasties has made contributions toward the beautiful monuments and temples within the valley capital of Kathmandu, where we get to explore in depth the culture and history of an ancient city.
The second stage of the tour is through the magical mountain scenery to Pokhara. From here we visit Tansen, a picturesque town within the Palpa district, famous for its mission hospital established at the turn of the century. We are near the Terai belt near the India/Nepal border, and we get good panorama views.
From Tansen we drive to Lumbini, the birth place of Buddha, and a quiet gentle place with many monasteries and a huge stupa.
The journey continues towards the famous Royal Chitwan National Park to see some of the most endangered species of wildlife in Asia and we conclude our stay at Everest panorama Camp to view the entire Himalayan Range (west to east) and get a glimpse of the big peaks: Everest, Dhaulagiri, Kanchanjunga among others.
